You are NOT what you eat!
If you were what you ate then some people I know should be the sizes of houses, myself included. If you were, I would be a towering pile of warm and freshly baked pastries, bread, and pizza.

I thought just for ‘fun’ I’d see what was searched the MOST on Google this year. And guess what? It turns out, not surprisingly, we’re all pretty shattered.
o the other day I went to a friend of mine for supper. She’s active and very health conscious so I knew that UBER healthy was on the menu.
Seriously my mother (Ruth) wrote this! I only found out a few weeks ago and when I read it, I cried. Firstly not only is the way she writes, nothing short of excellent but the story is POWERFUL!
Go mom! And thank you for all your courage!
Something that has hit home more and more for me and in working with others is that we don’t have depression, weight, failure, financial or even end of the world problems. True story.
More than likely we’re simply stuck in a habit of thinking we’re fat, or depressed, broke, or that we can’t, etc and then using the ‘evidence’ we see in the world to back it up and reinforce the story we tell about how we are and how the world is…
Sometimes too much bad news, makes us feel powerless. Feeling powerless however has made me realise just how much power we do actually have and often it’s the SMALLEST of things that end up making the BIGGEST impact.
Marc Márquez is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t and I didn’t particularly until I witnessed how he’s handled 2021. This is where the story gets interesting.
Can success be easy?
Why achieving the impossible is easier than you think!
How many times have you wanted to achieve something but it’s felt impossible? You’ve looked at some successful entrepreneur, executive, celebrity or start-up exit and thought “I’ll never be like that”.
Here’s a little secret I want to share. Success is easier than you think!
And why shit happens If you got to read my last blog, you’ll appreciate how learning Spanish and living in a new country really scrambled my brain. BUT it also enabled me to see life from a whole new perspective. One of the things I’ve realised and have been realising is how to navigate obstacles …
I’d been learning all about what it means to have a “Growth Mindset” thanks to a small obsession I had with a company called Growth Tribe in Amsterdam long before anyone had ever dreamt of getting rich selling designer Facemasks. (No jokes, check out this mask design from Dolce&Gabbana although I’m more of a Ferrari and McLaren gal myself.)
There is almost no path a human being can follow that does not lead to heartbreak….
This whole Coronavirus whilst making me some things in a new perspective has also brought home some truths I’ve long since known but never articulated in one place. Let me say this is by no means any answer to life however remembering these truths and even more importantly embodying some of them have helped me recently more than ever.
So I know there’s ALOT to deal with right now! I do. The world probably feels like it’s ending, you’re possibly trying to balance a million different tasks, and now Lisa you want to talk issues?!
