ABOUT

Once Upon a Time…

I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in December 1978. Yup, that’s some time ago. In the time before mobile phones – thank goodness when I got to spend my holidays on my grandmother’s farm. When holidays were a thing you didn’t have to Instagram!

And then I moved to Spain! Of course, I wrote a book about it. If you’re keen for a novel about life and starting again, you can check out Learning to Love Lisa on Amazon.

Strategic Storyteller

My journey led me to discover my superpower: telling stories that actually help people and brands grow.

My career started in marketing — telling stories that connect, build trust, and drive real change. Over the last decade, I helped brands find their voice, grow their presence, and speak with authenticity in an AI-saturated world.

But parallel to that journey, I’ve always been drawn to deeper stories — the internal ones. The narratives we tell ourselves, about ourselves. So I studied counselling and trained in systemic coaching.

Today, I help individuals and teams navigate change, build resilience, and rewrite the stories that may no longer serve them.

Who inspires me?

Goodness I’m inspired all the time by a range of humans from my parents to my friends, to writers and the women I’ve hosted on my podcast.

It’s for this reason I write, started my podcast and have created my courses on resilience and change.
